Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had announced the arrival of their daughter through a social media post. They captioned the post, “And in the best news of our lives, our baby is here, and what a magical girl she is. The couple was seen arriving at the HN Reliance Hospital earlier today. Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razdan, and Shaheen Bhatt also visited the hospital. The Kapoors and Bhatts are celebrating the addition of a new member to their family.

Actress Neetu Kapoor, mother of actor Ranbir Kapoor, is excited with the arrival of her granddaughter earlier today. Neetu revealed that Alia Bhatt, the new mother and daughter-in-law, is doing well after giving birth.

As Neetu got out of the car outside her residence, she said, “I am very happy!” When asked who does the baby girl look like, the actor said, “Abhi choti hai, so abhi pata nahi. Aaj hi to huyi hai”. (She is too small as of now to say that. So, I don’t know. She was just born today) Neetu also provided an update on Alia Bhatt’s health, saying she is doing well. “Alia is first class, everything is fine,” she stated.

Alia worked throughout her pregnancy. From promoting Brahmastra to launching her own maternity clothing line Edamama and her Hollywood debut film with Gal Gadot, The Heart of Stone the actress kept her professional commitments on track.

Ranbir recently shared about preparations to welcome Baby Kapoor. “Now we are having a fight because there is a book on it that she (Alia) has read and wants me to read, and am 30 per cent through it, and I tell her, ‘Listen, books are not gonna teach us how we are gonna raise our child, let us experience it when it happens’” he had said in an interview.
