Aryan Khan is the eldest son of the famous Indian actor Shahrukh Khan and Indian producer & interior designer, Gauri Khan. King Khan has often shared that Aryan has no interest in acting and is inclined towards the creative aspect of filmmaking. Unlike his father, superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has chosen to work behind the camera.

While SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan is all set to make her debut in the Indian adaptation of Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, Aryan Khan chose a web series for his maiden project as a writer. While his arrest made headlines last year, the star kid is moving on to bigger and better things, and is already preparing to make his writing debut with Red Chillies Productions.

Aryan’s passion for writing and directing has been out in the open for a while now as his father Shah Rukh had earlier said, “He’s been writing, directing, and learning stuff for four years. It’s one of the highest levels of studies at the University of Southern California to become a filmmaker”.

It was reported earlier today that Aryan Khan’s debut project as a writer has begun casting, and the show is scheduled to begin production by the end of 2022. In addition, Bilal Siddiqui, who co-wrote the ‘Bard Of Blood’ series starring Emraan Hashmi, is working with Aryan Khan on this script.

Aryan Khan will be trained as a writer by Israeli director Lior Raz, who also wrote the ‘Fauda’ series. According to a source,"Aryan is penning a script with a bunch of writers for Red Chillies Productions’ web series. One of them is Lior Raz. The work has already begun on the project and it may kick off by the end of the year. Aryan wants to learn the process of filmmaking. He wants to kick off his career as a writer first before he dives into the direction".

According to an ETimes report, several actors have auditioned for the web series. Reports suggest that Jersey actor Prit Kamani may be part of the show.

It was previously reported that the story revolves around tinsel town and is a comedy. Red Chillies Entertainment’s in-house writers are working on the project, which is a fictional depiction of the Hindi film industry.

Earlier this year, Aryan recently did a test shoot for the web show at a studio in Mumbai. “Of all the ideas in development, the two in the forefront is a web-series for Amazon Prime and a feature film to be bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment. The Amazon Prime series is said to be about the life of a diehard fan with some elements of thrill, however, the details of feature films are not known yet. If everything proceeds at the right pace, there’s a strong possibility of the show being greenlit by the platform this year itself,” said the source.

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan wishes to learn the intricacies of filmmaking before taking on the role of director. He is beginning his writing career first.
