The Godfather featuring superstar Chiranjeevi in the lead, phad a disappointing weekend at the Indian box office, with a negative trend. The film had a strong start on Wednesday and held well on Thursday, but after the holiday period ended, it dropped on Friday and then failed to make the required gains over the weekend, with collections in the Telugu states declining on Sunday.

The box office collections of Godfather at the Indian box office are as follows: Wednesday - Rs. 21.50 crores, Thursday - Rs. 13 crores, Friday - Rs. 10.50 crores, Saturday - Rs. 10.85 crores, Sunday - Rs. 10.65 crores. Total - Rs. 66.50 crores.

2. Kantara

Rishab Shetty’s small-budget film Kantara is witnessing a dream run at the box office. The box office collections of Kantara at the Indian box office are as follows: Week One – Rs. 26.25 crores, 2nd Friday – Rs. 4.25 crores, 2nd Saturday – Rs. 6.25 crores, 2nd Sunday – Rs. 7.25 crores. Total – Rs. 44 crores.

3. Ponniyin Selvan I

Ponniyin Selvan, Mani Ratnam’s film, continues to reach new heights with each passing weekend. The box office collections of Ponniyin Selvan at the Indian box office are as follows: Week One – Rs. 205.50 crores, 2nd Friday – Rs. 13.50 crores, 2nd Saturday – Rs. 19.75 crores, 2nd Sunday – Rs. 21.25 crores. Total – Rs. 260 crores.

4. Vikram Vedha

Vikram Vedha, starring Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, and Rohit Saraf and directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, is currently playing in theatres. 5. Goodbye

Goodbye, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna, failed to make a huge profit in its first weekend. The film is currently playing in theatres. Goodbye’s daily nett box office is as follows: Friday day 1 - Rs 1.5 crore, Saturday day 2nd - Rs 1.5 crore, Sunday day 3rd – hardly minted Rs 1.50 crore. Taking the Total Box Office Collection to Rs 4.29 crore. Given that the film received positive reviews from critics, the figure is low.

6. Hindutva

The film explores the depths of Hinduism through its principal characters. It is a story of friendship, love and student politics. Bollywood Hindi Movie Hindutva is Performing well on the Theaters. Hindutva daily net box office is as follows: The film collected Friday day 1 - Rs 1 crore, Saturday day 2nd - Rs 0.90 crore, Sunday day 3rd – 1.10 crore, Total – 3 crores.

7. Aa Bhi Ja O Piya

The film is currently playing in theaters now. When a city-educated Kaushal, who owns his own nursery in a picturesque Jharkhand village, meets Kalpana, a city girl from an army family who is on a research tour with her mother and driver, they fall in love. Feelings develop between the children, but practical circumstances force them to reconsider whether they are truly meant to be together. The film’s day wise Box Office Collection is as follows: Friday day 1 - Rs 10 lakh, Saturday day 2nd - Rs 12 lakh, Sunday day 3rd – 14 lakh. Total – 36 lakhs.
