Ayan Mukerji’s “Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva” is a fantasy adventure film written and directed by him. It is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra, and Mukerji under the production companies Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus in association with Star Studios, along with Ranbir Kapoor and Marijke DeSouza. Amitabh Bachchan, Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni star in it.
‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva,’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, was released in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, today at the Theatres.
Part One of Brahmastra - Shiva is a classic example of passion interacting with vision. Which both goes hand in hand and can’t be imagined without the other, and thankfully, this Ayan Mukerji-directed film manages to bring this combination of aspiration and imagination to life on the big screen. Screenplay observation is a totally subjective experience, with most audiences preferring one element of the film over another. This Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer, on the other hand, should be seen for the overall impact it has on the viewer.
“Ranbir Kapoor” on box office advance booking of 'Brahmastra', “We cannot take these figures and all seriously because till the audience doesn’t see the film, the game doesn’t begin. The film is made for the audience. I think on Friday, we will get to know where we are, kitne paani ke andar hain (how well we will fare). But the feeling is, of course, positive. We have come as Shah Rukh Khan from Dilwale Le Jaayenge, asking you, ‘come watch our movie!’ That’s all".
See what SS Rajamouli's has to say about the film, “Creating a world that Ayan has created is not easy. Ayan has created a power which still has some limits. He provided the scope to create a bigger villain and also created a scope for the struggle for good to win over evil. It's not an easy job. It's not a fairy tale but a commercial way of telling a story. But the film also says that love is the strongest of all astras. This is what I like about Brahmastra. Ayan made sure that among all the astras, including Vanara Astra, Agni Astra, Jalastra and Brahmastra – love is the strongest. Not just telling this fact in dialogues, he made sure that his point comes across. That love will win over everything”.
The Babli Bouncer actress, 'Tamannaah Bhatia’ said, “I really want to watch Brahmastra in a theatre because it is a spectacle. It’s something you want to experience on the large screen. I definitely want to watch it in 3D because it is made for that format”.
‘Alia Bhatt’ on Boycott Brahmastra trend - It is a beautiful environment to release a film. Right now, we need to be healthy, safe, and secure. We should all feel grateful for life in general, aise kuch mat bolo, aap mat spread karo. Negative kuchh nahi hain environment, sab positive hain, sab acha hain."
Ranbir Kapoor says, “Brahmastra is just the beginning. Ayan has so many tricks up his sleeves about what is going to come in the future. I really loved one astra, which is not in the film, that is Mr India ka Astra -the invisibility Astra. Since I am an introvert and I like to be invisible. I really hope Ayan brings that Astra into one of his future films.” saying this he reveals and gives us a glimpse of what Shiva’s Astra will be The Adrshy Aztra in BRAHMASTRA’S : PART TWO.

A few negative reviews are also there on social media, such as, “Finally watched the movie. Not expected the worst level of screenplay. The story is not up to mark. The only best thing in the movie is SRK’s cameo. The run time could have been trimmed 20-25 minutes. Rating- 1 / 5”. https://twitter.com/odisha_sm/status/1567882481566892034
