Dahan is a supernatural thriller series directed by Vikranth Pawar and produced by Mahesh Korade, along with Deepak Dhar and Rishi Negi.

Tisca Chopra is one of the web series' lead characters. She is best known for her roles in Taare Zameen Par, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, Ankur Arora Murder Case, and Highway (Marathi).

She was most recently seen in Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which was a blockbuster directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Viacom18 Studios, Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions, starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor.

The series is rooted on a cursed mine in the village of Shilaspura. The IAS officer (Tisca Chopra) learns about rare minerals found in Shilaspura mines that could change the fortunes of the region and is tasked with starting mining at the cursed mine. Tensions rise as the villagers warn her of the dangers, even bringing in a new preacher (Saurabh Shukla) to advise her. The Dahan trailer concludes with a series of exorcisms and holy chants as the locals begin to riot.

Tisca Chopra stated in a prepared statement,“What I love most about Dahan – Raakan ka Rahasya is how it captures raw fear as each character faces their own demons. Avani Raut, my character, fights personal and professional battles when she is caught in the crossfire of superstition and the supernatural and resin and practicality on the other”.
