This time around, Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Panday, and Seema Sajdeh are more open about their personal lives, making this Karan Johar production everything that Season 7 of his talk show Koffee with Karan was missing. The four wives of Bollywood have delivered an entertaining second season, going from being at odds to having each other's back.
Here are some highlights of the eight-episode show that make it worthwhile to watch :
It gives closer look at their glam lives. One of the second season’s major plot points revolves around Seema Sajdeh, who played Seema Khan in the first season. Seema is now divorced from Sohail Khan, Salman Khan’s youngest brother, and Maheep and show producer Karan Johar are looking for a match for the single mother of two.
Maheep hires Sima Taparia, the famous matchmaker from the Netflix show Indian Matchmaking, for the job, and the clash of Sima and Seema’s mindsets is entertaining to watch. Karan, for his part, arranges a surprise "blind date" with rapper Badshah, claiming that he is also single. Neither Badshah nor Seema seem interested, and Karan comes to a halt.
This season's main event is Chunky and Bhavana Panday's second wedding. With Karan Johar holding the reins of the show, there’s more star shower in the second season with line up including filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Farah Khan, designer Manish Malhotra and actors Bobby Deol, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Ranveer Singh.
As Actress Janhvi Kapoor binge watches her favourite series she shared a story on her Instagram suggesting that she is totally hooked onto the show. She reshared a post by her aunt Maheep Kapoor on her Instagram story and captioned it as, "You are just too entertaining!!!!!".
The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives Season 2 binge-factor is high enough and is a total entertainment package if you want to indulge in some petty, perverse fun.
