Godfather is a forthcoming Telugu-language political action film directed by Mohan Raja and produced by Ram Charan, R. B. Choudary, and N. V. Prasad's Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films are behind the film. Chiranjeevi plays the title role in this remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Lucifer, alongside Salman Khan, Nayanthara, and Satyadev Kancharana. The film score and soundtrack album of the film is composed by Thaman S with cinematography handled by Nirav Shah. The music rights were acquired by Saregama.

On 8th September, 2022, Thursday, the makers of the upcoming action political film 'GodFather' unveiled the first look poster of south actor Nayanthara.

The first look of Nayanthara in the Poster shows that she is focused and typing something on a typewriter.
On the release of the Hindi Teaser Earlier it is seen Megastar Chiranjeevi making a heroic entry, firing guns like a pro. Minutes later, Nayanthara's character is introduced, followed by Salman Khan's starry entry, riding a bike and firing guns again! The teaser was Massive Hit and fans are all ready waiting for the movie to release on the Big Screens.

After the death of a political leader, a mysterious man steps in to ascend the throne. In the political drama film, Nayanthara will play the role of Sathyapriya Jaidev. Salman Khan, the ‘Radhe’ actor, also makes his Telugu film debut in the film.
In addition to 'GodFather,' she will be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in director Atlee's next action thriller 'Jawan,' which is set to be released on June 2, 2023.
Godfather Is set to be released in theatres on October 5, 2022. The film will be distributed in India by Konidela Production Company and PVR Pictures, with Sarigama Cinemas handling international distribution through Phars Film.
