Govinda Naam Mera is an upcoming Bollywood comedy drama film. Directed and written by Shashank Khaitan. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, Shashank Khaitan under the banner Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Dharma Production. The film stars Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The film, which was supposed to be released in theatres on June 10, 2022, will now be available on a streaming platform.

The film revolves around the lines of a typical Pati, Patni, Aur Woh story, with Bhumi Pednekar as the wife and Kiara Advani as the girlfriend, and we see Vicky juggling between the two and how he ends up in a quandary.

In this dose of chaos, confusion, and laughter, Govinda Waghmare juggles his time and love between his wife Mrs. Waghmare and his girlfriend.

“Govinda Naam Mera will release on December 16, 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar. The platform had a few dates in mind, however they have finally zeroed down on December 16. It’s an important film for them, and they will make an official announcement soon,” informs a source close to the development.

Vicky and Kiara previously collaborated on Lust Stories, and the actor also worked with Bhumi on Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal is working on Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur and Aditya Dhar’s The Immortal Ashwatthama. He has already completed the first schedule of the Sam Manekshaw biopic.

Kiara Advani is also filming Sameer Vidwans’ Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kartik Aaryan, as well as Shankar’s RC15 with Ram Charan. Bhumi Pednekar is working on Ajay Bahl’s The Lady Killer with Arjun Kapoor and Sudhir Mishra’s Afwaah with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

“Govinda Naam Mera” will release on December 16, 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar.
