Katrina Kaif Reveals about her Upcoming Films with Ali Abbas Zafar, Vijay Sethupathi and Salman Khan

Katrina Kaif is currently promoting her forthcoming film, Phone Bhoot. She will appear in the film for the first time alongside Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Aside from that, Katrina has an interesting film schedule, including Ali Abbas Zafar’s next superhero film, “Super Soldier”. However, the actress has yet to begin filming. Her fans have been waiting for news about her reunion with Ali.

Katrina and Ali get along well. The duo has previously worked together on films such as Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat. They are now planning another collaboration, this time for a superhero film. They announced the project, but it was later postponed due to the pandemic. Katrina confirmed that she will work with Ali again in the future. What is the update on Ali’s film? The actress shared, “The film with Ali, he is a dear friend of mine and we are always talking back and forth. In fact, we spoke the other day, definitely, we will do something soon in the future”.

While Ali is busy with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. He is also working on his next film with Shahid Kapoor.

On asking her about her upcoming films, Katrina said, “After Phone Bhoot it’s Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas with Vijay. That’s gonna be coming soon. That’s wonderful. Sriram sir is my all-time favourite director and then of course Tiger. Tiger is always a very exciting franchise and exciting series.” It's worth noting that South superstar Vijay Sethupathi will make his Bollywood debut with Merry Christmas. The movie is expected to hit theatres on December 23, 2022. According to reports, Vijay will also play an important role in Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan.

After ‘Merry Christmas,’ the actress went on to say, there’s Maneesh Sharma’s ‘Tiger 3’ co-starring Salman Khan. ‘Tiger,’ she says, has always been a very exciting franchise and series for her. Emraan Hashmi will also appear as an antagonist in the film. The new release date for the action thriller starring Salman Khan was announced on Saturday. The movie will be released on Diwali next year. Maneesh Sharma will direct the third instalment of Tiger, which will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Apart from these, Katrina has been cast in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Jee Le Zaraa,’ in which she will appear alongside Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra for the first time.
