One of Kollywood’s most popular couples has given birth to two sons. The Power Couple Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, who married on June 9 of this year, have announced the birth of twins via surrogacy, announced Vignesh on his Instagram handle. The director shared several pictures of his twin newborn sons on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Nayan & Me have become Amma & Appa. We are blessed with Twin Baby Boys. All Our prayers,our ancestors’ blessings combined wit all the good manifestations made, have come 2gethr in the form Of 2 blessed babies for us.....Need all ur blessings for our...Uyir & Ulagam…Life looks brighter & more beautiful...God is double great”

Nayanthara and Vignesh can be seen kissing their children’s tiny feet in the photos. Immediately after Vignesh Shivan shared the post, their friends congratulated them in the comments section. Atlee commented, “Congratulations darling’s,” while Amitash Pradhan wrote, “Amazingg. Congratulations to you two”.

Their sons' names are Uyir and Ulagam, which mean ‘Life’ and ‘World,’ respectively. It’s unclear why the couple chose surrogacy, but fans are certain. Neither of them has confirmed anything about the process as of yet.

Vignesh Shivan shared another post on his Instagram handle featuring Nayanthara with their twins. Sharing the post, he wrote, “I love you Two And I love you Three”.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan married this year on June 9 in Chennai. Their families and several Alisters, including Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Mani Ratnam, Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, and others, attended the intimate wedding.

On the work front, the Lady superstar, who was last seen in Chiranjeevi’s GodFather, is making her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, directed by Atlee. The eagerly anticipated film marks acclaimed filmmaker Atlee’s first collaboration with King Khan. Aside from that, she has Gold with Prithviraj Sukumaran, directed by Alphonse Puthren, and Connect, a Tamil horror film.

Vignesh Shivan, on the other hand, has announced that he will direct Ajith’s 62nd film.
