Rorschach is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language psychological action thriller film directed by Nisam Basheer and written by Sameer Abdul, starring Mammootty in the lead role. The film is produced by Mammootty himself, under the banner Mammootty Kampany. While cinematography is handled by Nimish Ravi and the film scores and songs are composed by Midhun Mukundan. After Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, Rorschach is Mammootty’s second production under his own label.

The makers unveiled the trailer on the eve of the actor’s 71st birthday. The film’s Trailer released on 7th September at 6pm on Dulquer Salmaan’s Official YouTube Channel which read, “Rorschach is an upcoming movie directed by Nisam Basheer and Written by Sameer Abdul, Starring Mammootty in the lead role”.

Rorschach’’ is touted as a thriller with several mind-blowing action sequences. The trailer, set to ominous BGM, features Sharafudheen, Grace Antony, and others as characters attempting to solve the mystery surrounding the sudden arrival of Luke Antony (played by Mammootty) in a small town.

The Malayalam superstar will be seen playing a shady businessman who is unknown to many and has an unfavourable opinion of his strange ways of life. The plot of the film begins with the town being shocked by an untimely death caused by an accident. In addition, Mammootty can be seen sitting on a sofa wearing a sackcloth face mask in a full shot.

Rorschach is slated to release on the Big Screens in 2022.
