Uunchai is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language drama film written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya and jointly produced by Rajshri Productions, Boundless Media and Mahaveer Jain Films. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, Sarika and Danny Denzongpa.
On Tuesday, October 18, the makers of the film released the film’s Trailer on their Official YouTube Channel named “Rajshri” & wrote, “Embark on the journey of a lifetime with #Uunchai for the sake of lifelong friendships! Cheer on this trio as they leave their cozy Delhi lives to trek to Everest Base Camp. Why? Because Friendship Was Their Only Motivation!

The trailer begins with beautiful shots of Mount Everest and Parineeti Chopra’s voice in the background instructing mountaineers and telling them the “key to an easy trek.” It cuts to a scene in which four friends, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Danny Denzongpa, are seen taking pictures and having fun. After that, Danny Denzongpa’s character tells his friends about his dream, saying, “I want to relive my childhood with all three of you.” “I’d like to take you to the summit of Mount Everest”.
Danny dies of old age before they can reach a conclusion. Danny’s remaining three friends decide to fulfil his dying wish by scattering his ashes on Mount Everest. Soon after, Parineeti Chopra appears to train them for their task alongside Neena Gupta and Sarika.

The trailer for Uunchai has received a warm and positive response. Rajshri’s most ambitious film to date is Uunchai. Uunchai’s visuals, shot at over 17000 feet above sea level with a senior star cast, deserve a standing ovation.

The film Is scheduled for theatrical release on 11th November, 2022.
