Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language musical gangster film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, written by B. Jeyamohan and produced by Ishari K. Ganesh. A. R. Rahman composed the music for the film, which stars Silambarasan and Siddhi Idnani, as well as Raadhika Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, and Aangelina Abraham in supporting roles.

The plot revolves around a youngster who moves to the city and struggles to find his and his low caste members’ identities.

The makers released the trailer couple of days back and according to the latest, the trailer is trending on social media, setting a record on YouTube. The trailer received 12.83 million views in 24 hours, the third highest total for any Tamil film to date.
