Press Conference of Film Why Cheat India with Emraan Hashmi, Bhushan Kumar and Aditya Thackeray

Cheat India was supposed to be released on the same day as Thackeray, which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray. At a press conference held here, Kumar made the announcement. He denied that the party exerted any pressure on him to shift the film from its original January 25 release date, claiming that the decision was made out of respect for Bal Thackeray. "There was no pressure. We have not shifted the release date due to any pressure or out of any ego. We did it because it made business sense and out of respect for Balasaheb Thackeray," Kumar told reporters at the Cheat India press conference. The producer was joined by actors Emraan Hashmi and Sanjay Raut and Aditya Thackeray.
