Press Conference of Zee5 Original 'Skyfire'

Skyfire is a ZEE5 original that is all set to start streaming from May, 22. The star cast including Prateik Babbar, Sonal Chauhan, Jisshu Sengupta, Jatin Goswami and Sharaf Figar were present at a press conference in Mumbai. They interacted with the media and talked about Skyfire. The cast also launched the trailer which has received a good response. Actor Jatin Goswami will star in the upcoming show Skyfire. Slated to premiere on Zee5 on May 22, the series is about climate change and touches upon child trafficking in Delhi. About his character, Goswami, who was last seen in Hum Chaar and Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, says, “I play Sayed Ali Hassan, a brutally honest intelligence agent. He is on this once-in-a-lifetime kind of case that takes him to some extremely dark places. In solving the case, he is sucked into a freaky chain of events. It is a gritty, edge-of-the-seat sci-fi thriller.” Talking about the show and diving into a new genre, Prateik said, "Since it is a science-fiction show, it is heavy on visual effects and computer graphics and I have never been part of such a story ever. On top of that, I am playing a journalist who is searching for the truth. So the genre of sci-fi with a character like that was a super exciting thing to be part of. "The book was a success and the script was interesting. But for all of us, actors, it was interesting to see how it gets executed because that was important. There comes a producer like Shabina Khan and a platform like ZEE5." The story of "Skyfire" is said to follow the book written by Aroon Raman of the same name. The story revolves around a natural calamity that affects thousands of lives due to weather changes.
