Posted On: 07 June 2019Just Urbane, India’s most prolific and fastest-growing lifestyle magazine, hosted the eagerly-anticipated Urbane Awards 2019 on June 1, 2019, at the luxurious St Regis hotel/at a luxurious five-star property in Lower Parel, Mumbai. These awards marked the second anniversary of Just Urbane magazine and aimed at celebrating excellence in all walks of life – from cinema to fashion, sports, politics, media, fitness and more.
The event was flagged off, by an evocative performance of talented singer and flautist Rasika Shekhar. It was followed by Just Urbane Publisher, Managing Director and Chairman, Abhishek Kulkarni’s addressal to the audience and the unveiling of the June issue of the magazine.
The glittering ceremony was hosted by the talented and popular actor Maniesh Paul and was attended by change makers from diverse spheres, including leading Bollywood actors, politicians, industrialists, socialites and influencers, such as RakulPreet Singh, Urvashi Rautela, Jim Sarbh, ShikhaTalsania, Maniesh Paul,DabooRatnani,Vidyut Jamal, Neeta Lulla,RJ Mallishka and Elena Fernandes.
Speaking about the vision driving the awards, Mr. Kulkarni quotes, “With the Urbane Awards, we aim to create an exclusive property as well as an unbiased platform that showcases some of our country’s most outstanding talent. Our magazine’s maiden issue was launched exactly two years ago, on June 1, 2017. Our awards were and will continue to be, hosted on the same day every year. The outstanding reception we have received only tell us that the property will continue to grow larger and more reputed in the years to come!”
