Varun Dhawan Kick-starts Breezer Vivid Shuffle Season 3

There’s something about street dance that gets you pumping. A few years back, you could only experience it through films (Hollywood films to be precise) and the idea of walking into a dance battle around the corner of your ‘gully’ was far fetched. Cut to the present, ‘The Kings’, a cool Indian hip-hop group won at World Of Dance, an American reality show. We finally have hip-hop that can really fly off the streets and the stick the landing on a global stage. So we’re celebrating the only way we know how; rounding up the troops and gearing up for more dance sessions. That’s exactly what happened this week at the launch of Breezer Vivid Shuffle 2019, a dance battle covering 11 Indian cities. Kick-started by Varun Dhawan, the dance battle is officially open for Season 3. Mumbai’s Khar Social was packed to capacity with hip-hop junkies assembling to get their dose of dance, music and old school rap. Post Gullyboy’s success we’ve seen so much of the country’s best rappers and now it’s time for some of the dancers to shine. Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan loves hip-hop and with his enthusiasm, he’s ushering in a whole wave of new age street dance. His movie, Street Dancer will be releasing soon said and he’s hyped for it. “Hip-hop has always been very close to me and these artists inspire me to take my love for hip-hop to the next level with movies like Street Dancer.
