72 Hours: Martyr Who Never Died (2019)

This film is based on the life of Jaswant Singh Rawat and is set in the 1960s, when India was dealing with the Sino-Indian War in addition to economic turmoil, drought, and religious strife. Jaswant was born into a poor Garhwal family in Dehradun. He grew up to be a responsible son who dedicated his life to study and his family, but due to a series of events, he decided to enter the army at a young age and received his training in Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal District, where he joined the Garhwal Rifles Regiment. Their paltan is sent to protect the advancing Chinese army from the North-East front on India shortly after completing his preparation. The infantry has to take a step back due to unforeseen circumstances. Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, on the other hand, refuses to leave and battles the Chinese army alone for 72 hours.
