Aakrosh (2010)

The story revolves around a lower caste man who travelled to Jhanjhar, Bihar, with two friends to watch Ramleela. These three Delhi University students vanish in a dusty village. There has been no trace of the young students for the past three months. The media and student movements across Bihar play a crucial role in obtaining information about these students, and the government then appoints CBI officers Sidhant Chaturvedi and Pratap Kumar to investigate the matter. Pratap is a Bihar native who recognises the complexities of race relations in small towns like Jhanjhar. Pratap attempts to use his charisma and intelligence to solve the case, while Sidhant takes a straight-forward, no-nonsense approach to the investigation. It's just a clash of personalities and philosophies at this stage.
