Agneepath (2012)

Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan) is taught about the path of fire (Agneepath) by his principled father in the small Indian village of Mandwa. When the evil drug lord Kancha Cheena (Sanjay Dutt) hangs his father, his life is totally turned upside down. Vijay travels to Bombay with his pregnant girlfriend, Zarina Wahab, and swears that he will one day return to Mandwa and restore his father's name to glory. Vijay, a 12-year-old boy from Bombay, is brought under the wing of Rauf Lala, the city's drug lord (Rishi Kapoor). From there, it's a road of vengeance in which he forms and breaks several relationships in order to get closer to his goal. Vijay gets help from his only friend Kaali (Priyanka Chopra), who is there for him at all times. His contempt for Kancha leads him back to Mandwa fifteen years later. Agneepath is a remake of the same-named Hindi film starring Amitabh Bachchan, for which he won a national award.
