Aiyaary is based on the true story of a tutor and student couple, and it tells the story of two strong-willed Army officers who fight over their differing viewpoints. Manoj Bajpayee plays the mentor, Sidharth Malhotra plays his protege, and Rakul Preet Singh, who plays an IT professional, plays Sidharth's love interest in the film.
