Ajji (2017)

Manda is discovered raped and dumped in a garbage dump in her slum. Her parents are more concerned with survival than with integrity, and they want to forgive and move on because the rapist is the son of a local official, and even the police are helpless to help. Manda's Ajji (grandmother) however, cannot tolerate the injustice. Is it possible for a weak, arthritic, and feeble old woman to battle the big bad wolf? Is there any hope for justice in this world of cruelty? Is there anything that can serve as a deterrent to rape? The crux of the matter is the answers to these questions.
