Andaaz (2003)

The story follows the ups and downs of Raj Malhotra (Akshay Kumar), who is involved in an accident at the start of the film and, despite being physically fine, is unable to walk. After relocating to Dehradun, he befriends their new neighbour Kajal (Lara Dutta), who tries to coax him into walking and succeeds. Raj is soon recruited into the Indian Air Force as a result of her efforts, and he is forced to go and train for a year and a half. Raj returns to express his feelings for Kajal, which he has been developing over time. When he returns, however, he discovers Kajal in love with Karan. She advises him to move on with his life after learning of his feelings at her reception. In Cape Town, where he is training, he meets Jiya (Priyanka Chopra). He doesn't fall for her right away, but she does. He decides to marry Jiya after his family tells him that they approve of her. Kajal is Jiya's sister-in-law, which he is unaware of. What will happen when he meets his first love face to face? Are there any surprises in store for him?
