What is holding them back will set them free. Angry Indian Goddesses is India's first female buddy film, portraying women in India today in a new, realistic light. Frieda, a fashion and commercial photographer in search of her own style, gathers her closest friends from across India to fly to Goa for a surprise announcement: she's getting married! Thus starts an impromptu bachelorette party that will last for the entire week. Friendships, breakups, make-ups, love, devastation, hesitation, terrorization, and self-realization are all part of this riotous roller-coaster ride of girl bonding. Secrets emerge, tensions emerge, relationships are created, and emotions run high amid the fun and frenzy, heartbreak and heartache, excitement and obsession, youth and innocence. Soon, the situation will become more serious, but for now, these women are determined to seize the day.
