Anna, Kisan Baburao Hazare is a biopic based on the life of social crusader Anna, who is known in India as Anna. The film follows the journey of Kisan Hazare, a barely educated common man who attempts suicide when he is young. However, a book written by Swami Vivekananda opens his eyes to such an extent that he chooses to abandon his parents' matrimonial wish for him and devote his entire life to the welfare of others. His life's journey touches on a variety of important social issues, including rural growth, cleanliness, the RTI Act, system accountability, and the fight against corruption, among others. At the end of his life, he goes on a national hunger strike, which forces the government to offer LOKPAL, a crucial law to combat the country's massive corruption.
