Apna Asmaan (2007)

Apna Aasmaan is a film about today's urban ambitions as seen through the eyes of a young Bombay couple. The breadwinner works in the plastics industry. His wife foregoes her childhood ambition of becoming a classical dancer in order to settle down into marriage, which is jeopardized when their only child is diagnosed as autistic. He is a retarded adolescent with admirable drawing abilities. His illness causes a rift between his parents, with his father torn between remorse and a desire to capitalise on her son's abilities. She understands when a miracle cure works wonders but comes at a high cost.
