Astu (2016)

Appa Dementia has now set in for Dr. Chakrapani Shastri. Ira, his daughter, and Madhav, their husband, are attempting to deal with Appa's deteriorating memory. However, one day Appa vanishes, Ira freaks out, and finds himself caught in a chain of Appa's memories as Appa lives moment to moment with a vagabond couple and their elephant Laxmi. The main focus of this story is the connection between a father and daughter and how the roles shift as the father's memory deteriorates.
