Baadshaho (2017)

The year was 1975. A period during which India is said to have fought for its second independence. It was a time of upheaval, a time when fortunes could be stolen or lost, when destinies could be made or broken. A period when absolute dominance reigned supreme. When the privy purses were abolished in 1971, the quasi-government went after royal families all over the world, especially in Rajasthan, alleging that they had not declared their wealth. The royals were said to be hiding several crores worth of antiques, gold, jewellery, and treasures. The majority of these raids took place in Rajasthan, and Baadshaho tells the story of one of them.
