Kharbujewaadi,' a village known for its many 'Mavlas' who bravely served Shivaji Maharaj. Kharbujewadi is now a well-developed contemporary town. The forts of Shivaji Maharaj, the most prominent symbol of Hindavi Swarajya, have long been forgotten. On the same walls where the courageous mawlas spilt their blood for Swarajya, the once gorgeous fort above this bustling town lies in ruins, stained with tobacco-laden spit, debris, empty beer bottles, and lovers expressing their love for each other. However, there is currently a glimpse of optimism, as Nanasaheb, along with two buddies Panda and Shiva, is the current Sarpanch of Kharbujewaadi. Nana, an ardent devotee of Shivaji Maharaj wants to repair the ageing fort for the people to remember their history in all its splendour. He has devised a strategy.
