Kevin and Shalini shared only a few characteristics. They were both great painters and in love. When disparities in their social standings arose, they made the decision to flee. Kevin waited for Shalini on that fateful day, but she did not show up. Kevin was on his own when he left Goa. They cross paths again on the streets of Mumbai eight years later... Shalini is assassinated only a few hours later. Kevin is apprehended near the crime scene... Kevin is the subject of all circumstantial evidence. Nilesh Bhargav receives a visit from the Commissioner of Police. Nilesh had previously aided the police in a number of incidents, which he had successfully resolved. He wants Niles because of a personal vested interest. He wants Nilesh to conduct a parallel investigation to solve the Shalini murder case due to his personal vested interest. Shalini's most recent painting, Nilesh believes, tells an interesting tale.
