Brij Mohan, the owner of a hosiery shop in a bustling Delhi market, is desperate to improve his life. He's had it with his ball-crusher wife and his mounting debts. To get away from his miserable life, he disguises himself as Amar Sethi, but ends up committing a botched murder. He flees with his young girlfriend, hoping to start a new life. Instead, as fate would have it, he becomes entangled in his own Karma web.
