Chala Mussaddi... Office Office (2011)

Mussaddi Lal Tripathi, a retired schoolteacher, is distressed by his wife's serious illness and takes her to the hospital. However, the doctors' incompetence and vested interests lead to her untimely death. Mussaddi then embarks on his pilgrimage to the four Holy Places, accompanied by his young son, for the immersion of his wife's ashes. In Mussaddi's absence, pension officers arrive at his home to inquire about his situation. Musaddi's next-door neighbour Gupta informs them that Musaddi has left. Mussaddi Lal has died, according to the Pension Officers, who have reported his death in their files. When Mussaddi returns, he learns, much to his surprise, that he has been declared dead by the government. He does everything he can to persuade the Pension Office workers that he is still alive, but they are sceptical and demand evidence. Mussaddi Lal is now on the hunt for proof that he is still alive.
