Chhalaang is the story of a PT Master from a semi-government-funded school in Northern India who embarks on a hilarious yet inspiring journey. Montu (Rajkummar Rao) is a typical PT Master who sees his work as nothing more than a job. When circumstances place everything Montu cares about in jeopardy, including his love for Neelu (Nushrat Bharuccha), Montu is compelled to do something he has never done before: teach. Chhalaang humorously discusses the importance of Sports Education in the school curriculum through Montu's journey.
