Maya Johnson, a foreign national, arrives in India looking for a fresh start, but her life is turned upside down when she is sexually assaulted by two powerful criminals. She embarks on a legal struggle with the support of social activist Satya Deshmukh and lawyer Sitapati Shukla to bring her rapists to justice. A courtroom drama ensues, exposing the ugliness of victim blaming and urging society to rethink its patriarchal ideals.
