Dev (2004)

Dev is the story of Dev and Tej's relationship, which is deeper than blood bonds and in which Farhaan appears as the stumbling block. The plot unfolds against the backdrop of today's tainted climate, in which innocent lives have become political fodder. Farhaan, acting under the aegis of corrupt politician Latif, unwittingly ignites a wave of terrorist violence that engulfs the entire city in flames. Tej goes above and above the law in his attempt to eradicate anti-national crime. Dev is torn between a moral imperative to act and the spectre of a horrific human cost. The stakes are far higher than self-interest. Dev and Tej are on the verge of colliding in a spectacular way. Even as Dev and Farhaan's fates become irreversibly intertwined, two soldiers whose allegiances may be to opposing causes but who are drawn together by respect for each other's bravery and honesty.
