Dhaad (2018)

The plot of Dhaad is based on the life of Ghelo, an impotent man, and his desperate hunt for water, lost land, and a child in rural Kutch, Gujarat. Ghelo forcibly involves his friend, Pranjivan, in a raid on the landlord's fortune in order to illustrate his opinion that the rich and strong can only be contained by establishing dominance over them. During the raid, Ghelo is challenged by the landlord's pregnant daughter, and his conviction begins to weaken. He loses his strength and has a fatal paralytic stroke.
