Dil Dosti Etc (2007)

Dil Dosti Etc is an unapologetically candid look at how today's adolescent boys think about life and choose their course. It is focused on the experiences of two Delhi University students. Through the characters of Apurv (Imaad Shah), a wealthy cosmopolitan, and Sanjay Mishra (Shreyas Talpade), a traditional Bihari man. The film perfectly portrays modern and liberal society as well as traditional and conservative society. Sanjay is a driven and determined student politician who knows just what he wants out of life. Apurv's life, on the other hand, is without direction. But, with both money and time on his side, he makes the most of both by using them to find meaning in life through flings with a variety of women. Vaishali (Smriti Mishra) plays a schoolgirl and a wealthy model who is both sexy and a sharp-tongued prostitute who has no emotional attachments to her clients. On the other hand, there's Kintu (Ishitta Sharma), a schoolgirl who ignores Apurv's flirtatious actions and plays hard to get. Prerna ( Nikita Anand) is a South Delhi beauty with dreams of becoming an international model, but she finds herself drawn to Sanjay, a down-to-earth but sassy student politician.
