Ek: The Power of One (2009)

Nandu (Bobby Deol) is a former orphan who has become an assassin. He is on the run after being falsely accused of the assassination of a politician. He meets Puran (Akshay Kapoor), who is returning to his hometown after fourteen years, while travelling by train. Puran tells Nandu all about his joint family and the wedding of a cousin that he is on his way to attend as they travel. Nandu is apprehended by the police and shot. Puran, however, takes the bullet while protecting his new friend and dies instantly. Nandu visits Puran's family to return his grandfather's watch and to tell them of his untimely death. However, in their ecstatic state, they mistake Nandu for Shekhar and drag him right into it. Preet is a family friend who is instantly smitten by Nandu. Nandu has feelings for her as well, but CBI Inspector Rane is on a mission to find the politician's killer. Is Nandu ever going to be able to ride away from the crisis? What is the true identity of the assassin? What happens to Preet and Nandu's relationship?
