Faas (2022)

A bereaved farmer hamlet where farmers are dying as a result of a lack of rain and are in debt to the village leaders. Baliram is a farmer who lives peacefully with his wife Laxmi and two children, Vishnu and Soni. His entire family works in the field but earns very little. Baliram, frustrated, can't take it any longer and hangs himself. Laxmi is taken aback and believes he had to die this way because he was born a farmer. Inspector Ghorpade arrives to investigate the matter and contacts Dr. Patil for a postmortem, but Dr. Patil is occupied with his son's birthday celebrations. Other prominent figures in the hamlet, on the other hand, do not regard the death of a farmer as a major thing.Inspector Ghorpade gets Baliram's body down from the tree with the help of villagers, which does not sit well with Dr Patil and others.
