Gandhi, My Father (2007)

Mahatma Gandhi was a great My Father portrays the tragedy of Mahatma Gandhi's father-son relationship with Harilal Gandhi. The film depicts Gandhi's deep wound in his heart as a great human being and Father of the Nation who failed as a father to his own children. Gandhi suffered financially, economically, and politically, but he never lost sight of his ideals and desire for human dignity.
