Gully Boy (2019)

Murad, 22, is the son of a driver who grew up in a Mumbai ghetto. Though his parents want him to get a white-collar job, rap music is the youngster's greatest passion. Murad's struggles to rise above his circumstances and become a rapper would send hip-hop ripples through all social groups, inspiring an entire generation of youngsters, in a country where becoming an artist is always a far-fetched dream for the impoverished.
