Halla Bol (2008)

Ashfaque's storey, Halla Bol, is inspiring (Ajay Devgan). He is from a small town and aspires to work in the Hindi film industry. To realise his dream, he first joins a street theatre troupe led by an improved dacoit named Sidhu (Pankaj Kapur). Sidhu uses street theatre to awaken the masses, while Ashfaque fails to give his visions the artistic direction they deserve. Ashfaque's perseverance pays off as he gets a break in the film industry. He finally changes his name from Ashfaque to Sameer Khan and becomes a celebrity. Unfortunately, his popularity in the real world has taken a toll on his real personality, and he has lost contact with his true self. His new corrupt self, on the other hand, isolates him from his loved ones, including his wife, Sneha (Vidya Balan). Anything takes a sharp turn as he finds himself stuck between his original self and his recently discovered superstar avatar.
