Hawayein (2003)

Hawayein is a 2003 film directed by Ammtoje Mann that is set against the backdrop of the 1984 Sikh genocide. The film is based on true events and depicts the effect of Operation Bluestar and Indira Gandhi's subsequent assassination on the people of Punjab. Sarabjeet's storey is told in Hawayein, and it shows how he became one of India's most wanted terrorists.
