Kavita is defiant, fiercely independent, and unconcerned about society. She is aware of her attractiveness. She is at a crossroads in her life, having recently graduated from college. With a strict disciplinarian for a mother, a flair for drama, and no idea what she wants to do with her life, she finds herself in a pickle. Kavita is quickly alienated by her materialistic, vain peers and shunned by her family. All she knows is that the happy, safe marriage that her mother desires for her is the very last thing she desires. But what does she want to do with her life?
