Himmatwala (2013)

Himmatwala is an official remake of the same-named 1983 blockbuster. Dharam Murti is a Shaktinagar headmaster who lives with his parents. Ravi and Padma, Savitri's two daughters. He files a police report after seeing Sher Singh Bandookwala murdering someone. Sher Singh is jailed, but only for a short time, and he uses all of his strength to secure bail. Dharam is caught with Menaka, a new school teacher, in a compromising situation a few days later, and he flees town, leaving his wife and children. Savitri works incredibly hard and supports her family on her own, as well as assisting her son Ravi in becoming an engineer. Ravi wishes to take vengeance against those who have wronged him as he grows older.
