Hum Pyar Tumhi Se Kar Baithe (2002)

When Mamta discovers that her husband, Vikas, has criminal links, she decides to divorce him and protect their son, Vishwas. Mamta's luggage is stolen at the railway station by a mother and son team of robbers, who are then run over by a truck, causing the police to assume the bodies are those of Mamta and Vishwas based on the badly mutilated bodies. Vikas is inconsolably sad. Following that, he is tasked with caring for two friends' only daughter, Priya, after his associates murder them. Priya has matured over the years.
