Punjab Singh is a Punjabi boy who is pining for Simran, his ideal girl. Priyanka Shah, on the other hand, is a wealthy NRI who despises her filmy name Simran. Simran has two months to marry an Indian, otherwise her property will be given to a trust. She marries Punjab Singh in order to keep her ownership. Simran informs Punjab Singh after their marriage that she despises all things Desi and wants a divorce. Punjab Singh stipulates in his divorce agreement that Simran must travel to India and live with him for six months. So, what's next?
