The film is about illegal immigrants who drowned when their boat collided with a ship in the Malta-Sicily channel. It brings the 1996 Malta boat disaster to life. Sunny Deol plays a hero in the movie who saves several lives during the incident. The film is an effort to depict the suffering and difficulties that the people faced at the time.
