Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye (2000)

Prem Kapoor, an aspiring popstar, shares his home with his elder sister Neelu and brother-in-law Vinod. Prem and Nisha are in love and plan to marry soon. The wedding has been arranged and arrangements have begun. Nisha fails to turn up for the wedding on the day of the event. When Prem inquires about her absence, Nisha explains that she is marrying a wealthy young man from the United States who will be able to care for her and her ailing brother. Prem is heartbroken, and he turns to alcohol to cope. This goes on until Prem meets and falls in love with Priya Sharma. Priya declares her engagement to Rahul Puglia, a wealthy young man from the United States, before he can even propose marriage. Prem is dumped for the second time in this way, and he blames himself for not being wealthy enough, turning to alcohol. Can Prem's plight and heartache be resolved by alcohol, or will he continue to fall in love and be dumped over and over again?
