Marathi Tigers (2016)

The story begins in Hillur, a village in the Belagavi area with a large Marathi population. The Hillur people are battling the Karnataka government in an effort to integrate their community with Maharashtra. The state administration, however, opposes to the divisive board and has the police assist in demolishing it. The protagonist of the movie, Shiva, a young Marathi man from the hamlet, becomes agitated and yells at both the police and the authorities. His Kannadiga sweetheart Seema stands beside him as they organise people to protest the injustices carried out by the Karnataka government.
